Project Overview
This project involved the delivery of 14 one and two-bedroom boutique villas for Whitton Malt House, a unique hospitality destination in the Riverina. Designed as short-stay accommodation, the villas needed to feel both functional and elevated, offering guests a comfortable and memorable experience, with one villa designed to be fully accessible.
The Brief
The client was looking to create high-quality accommodation that complemented the wider precinct, which includes dining, events, and recreational experiences. The villas needed to be efficient to deliver, consistent in design, and positioned to take advantage of the lakeside setting, while still feeling warm, private, and easy to maintain.
Our Approach
We delivered a series of modular one and two-bedroom villas, designed to maximise space, natural light, and connection to the surrounding landscape. Each villa includes open-plan living, a kitchenette, and private outdoor areas, allowing guests to relax and take in views across the lake.
By constructing off-site, we were able to maintain quality control and streamline the build process, while ensuring a consistent finish across all villas.
The Outcome
The result is a cohesive, well-resolved accommodation offering that integrates seamlessly into the broader Whitton Malt House experience. The villas provide a comfortable and modern stay for couples, families, and groups, while the inclusion of an accessible villa ensures the precinct can cater to a wider range of guests. The project demonstrates how modular construction can deliver high-quality commercial outcomes efficiently.
